Day Host
This role is to be a welcoming face to all who would enter the Hope House during the work day. Volunteer times can vary based on persons availability.
Open house to families and caseworkers for use of visits, support meetups, and community meetings
Show guests around the house and provide support to guests
Help with food prep like coffee and set out snacks
Light cleaning and laundry duties
Emergency Removal Host
This role is to be a welcoming face to all who would enter the Hope House during the evening hours. Volunteer times will vary based on needs of DCS and other community agencies and will be “on call” based.
Open house to families and caseworkers for evening emergency removals and stay at Hope House till all leave.
Show guests around the house
Help with DCS approved care of the kiddos after removal
Help with food prep like coffee/set out snacks/ frozen meals
Light cleaning and laundry duties
Help caseworker gather needed items for “placement bag”
