When you are here you are home.
A place where new friendships can be fostered, parenting skills can be practiced, and meals can be shared around a table. As a result, we will see hope restored, families rebuilt and people take steps closer to Christ.
Our Mission
The Hope House exists to provide a safe space for families in crisis to receive support, encouragement and love.
The Problem
Families in crisis often struggle to find positive influences within their own family’s circle, Families specifically affected by the Foster Care System (DCS) are often left without structure and support when reunification occurs.
Our Solution
We will be a place of safety, during and after a family enters the DCS foster system. Our families will enjoy gatherings hosted by our team, have a safe space for visits to occur, and find support from mentors and hosts trained in trauma-informed care. All while receiving hope and encouragement in their restoration journey.
Our Promise
The Hope House is a place where all who come are on equal footing. A place where kids, bio families, foster families, service providers, and supports can share in the joy of seeing families restored through new relationships and positive community interactions.
Jessica’s Story
Having a support structure is so important in Foster Care. Watch Jessica share her journey to get her son back. See how dedication, hard work and partnering with a mentor can make all the difference.
Where is the Hope House?
The Hope House is located in Terre Haute, Indiana. We are serving the community by being a place for parents to do visits with their kids, supporting parents as they work on restoring their family unit, and also by providing a safe location for kids to stay when they have just been removed by DCS.
Together we can make a difference.
